Leyden

AI-powered idea capture. Turn fleeting thoughts into structured, connected ideas, across web and mobile. Currently in private beta.
Stack
  • Nuxt 4 (web)
  • Flutter (iOS / Android)
  • Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Functions)
  • Gemini 2.0 Flash
  • Firestore Vector Search

What Leyden does

For people who think faster than they can file.

Most notes apps expect you to organise on the way in. Leyden expects you to type fast and messy, then does the structure work for you. The AI is the quiet librarian in the background, not another dashboard to tend.
AI auto-title and auto-tag
Dump a raw thought the moment you have it. Leyden uses Gemini 2.0 Flash to title, tag, and structure it so you never have to file it yourself.
Interview mode
When a half-formed idea needs pushing further, Leyden asks the follow-up questions a thoughtful friend would. Your answers flow back into the same note.
Smart Linking
Firestore vector search over your entire idea library. When you capture something new, Leyden surfaces the past thoughts that connect to it, so nothing useful gets stranded.
Web and native mobile
A Nuxt web dashboard for deep work, a Flutter iOS and Android app for capture on the move. One Firebase backend keeps everything in sync in real time.

Current status

Where Leyden is right now

We would rather show real progress than vapourware mock-ups. Here is the honest state of the build.
  1. Phase 1

    Scoping and infrastructure

Product scope locked, Firebase project stood up, domain secured at leyden.app, AI pipeline and vector index wired up.

  2. Phase 2

    Private beta

Closed beta with a small group of design partners. Real usage is shaping the capture flow, the interview prompts, and which linking signals to keep.

  3. Phase 3

    Public launch

Landing page, pricing, and the first public release across web and the mobile apps. Announcement on the Vantara Labs blog.
